This policy explains how Awesome Dairy Private Limited handles return, replacement and refund requests for orders placed through awesomedairy.com. It should be read with our Shipping, Cancellation, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy pages.
Perishable and food products
Because milk and other dairy/food products are perishable, they are generally not returnable merely because of a change of mind after delivery. This does not affect your rights where an item is wrong, damaged, leaking, spoiled, defective, materially different from what was ordered, or otherwise eligible for remedy under applicable law.
Report an order problem
If you receive a wrong, damaged, leaking, spoiled or defective product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery with your order details and a description of the issue. We may request photographs, packaging details or other reasonable information needed to verify the complaint. Please retain the affected product and packaging until we advise you otherwise, where safe and practical.
Replacement or refund
After reviewing a valid complaint, the available remedy may include replacement, refund or another appropriate resolution depending on the product, order status, availability and applicable consumer law. We will not use this policy to exclude or limit any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Refund method and timing
Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be initiated to the original payment method or another mutually agreed and legally permissible method. The time for the amount to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider or bank after we initiate the refund. We will communicate the status of the request using the contact details associated with the order.
Non-returnable situations
A return or refund may be declined where there is no product or service deficiency and the request concerns a perishable item already delivered, where the product has been consumed or materially altered after delivery, or where the issue cannot reasonably be verified. Each request will be assessed on its facts and applicable law.
